Governor Scott Walker Honors Veterans and Military Personnel at State Fair

Governor Scott Walker honored Wisconsin veterans and members of the military today at the Wisconsin State Fair as part of the Fair's Veterans and Military Recognition Day. All veterans, military members, and their families received free admission to the Fair today, and were welcome to participate in a special military program at the Bank Mutual Amphitheater or the Recognition Day Parade.

"The Wisconsin State Fair offers all of us an opportunity to show our support for our current and future farmers, the agriculture industry, and everything great about Wisconsin, which includes our veterans and Armed Forces," Governor Walker said. "Many thanks to all of our veterans, members of the military, and your families, for your dedication and selflessness. Your courage is always inspiring and today, we salute you."

Veterans and Military Recognition Day is held on the final day of the Wisconsin State Fair.
